Thank you for considering Loretto Academy as an option for your child’s education. Loretto Academy is an independent Catholic school (Pre-Kindergarten through 5th: co-ed, 6th-12th grade: all girls) that serves a diverse multi-cultural student population from Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico. Loretto Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, or religion. Applications are reviewed on a first come, first served basis. All students undergo an admission evaluation process based on the following: prior scholastic records, parent and student interviews, standardized test scores, attendance/tardy records, teacher recommendations, and personal essay. At the elementary and middle school levels, the school director consults with faculty and makes the final decision on admission. In the high school, an admissions committee consisting of the director, faculty, and staff reviews each student’s packet and makes an admissions decision of acceptance, conditional acceptance, or denial. The admissions process requires submission of the following (which can be downloaded below):

1. A Personal Information Form with a $10.00 (non-refundable) processing fee
2. A Personal Essay (6th thru 12th grade) - this will be administered during the assessment
3. One Teacher Recommendation Form (1st thru 5th grade)
Three Teacher Recommendation Forms (6th thru 12th grade)
