Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) are designed to help make educational choice more accessible for families across Texas. Through TEFA, eligible families may receive state-provided funds that can be used toward qualified educational expenses, including private school tuition. TEFA awards for the 2025–2026 school year are $10,474 per student (unless the student qualifies under Priority One for additional support). At Loretto Academy, we believe every student deserves access to a values-centered education that nurtures academic excellence, faith, leadership, and service. TEFA helps support that mission by expanding access for families who qualify and are seeking a Loretto education.
TEFA funds may help families:
- Offset the cost of private school tuition (up to $10,474)
- Access a Loretto education with greater financial flexibility
- Cover other qualifying expenses such as uniforms, tutoring, and approved educational services
With your help, we can continue educating young leaders, support more students with tuition assistance, retain and attract highly-qualified educators, and maintain and update our school grounds. We are currently working to update our HVAC system in the gym and middle/high school building.
